Grade 7 Gardening Project

Grade 7 students started a gardening project in the Spring term.

GARDENING PROJECT

Produce must be harvested (reaped) and ready for sale on June 6 (International Day)

Start background research for vegetable you want to grow.  

CHECKLIST

1. Choose vegetable based on:

• length of time needed to grow
• can it grow in Paris at this time (is the climate OK for this plant)
• can it grow in small spaces, grow bags
• does it have to be outside or in the greenhouse
• does it need direct sunlight, lots of water etc

2. What do you need?

• container to grow in (check how to use growing bags)
• organic or regular soil
• fertilizer
• compost
• type of water
• sticks to prop up plants when they are growing
